When you hear a familiar song on the radio, what do you experience?
• Do you usually have memories connected to the title, the music, or the lyrics?... • How many of your senses can you engage when listening to music that has a powerful effect over you? • What type of music tends to bring back the most memories for you? There is a mentally therapeutic aspect to music. Since hearing is the last sense to leave us before we die, music has helped bring comfort to individuals in pain, as well as loved ones emotionally suffering alongside them. Music is such a great comfort that music therapy is becoming increasingly practiced throughout the medical field due to its rehabilitative capacity. In general, soothing music has been proven to lower blood pressure, alter the heart rate, and relieve stress, so musical therapist tend to use it often in sessions. In fact, music is so powerful as a memory tool that it has been known to help those with Alzheimer's and other degenerative brain diseases remember. Music inspires, lifts us up to greater heights, and reminds us why life is worth the trouble. People will forever be connected to their memories as long as they are connected to music. Today's Soul Wave...remember and play a song that made you feel "empowered" in the past (Eye of the Tiger is mine!) or perhaps a song that makes you feel completely relaxed or stirs your soul (Enya anyone?) and reconnect then recalibrate to that today. 528+++ #powerfulmusic #memories #changeyourstate #changeyourlife #supersoulshiftingcoach #lifecoachwithsoul #goodvibes #soulwaves #528 #feelbetter
